
Ingrediënten
- 3 oz desiccated coconut, unsweetened
- 1 dessert apple, (e.g. Granny Smith or Pink Lady), stem removed, quartered (approx. 5.5 oz)
- 4 pitted dates, dried (approx. 1 oz)
- 10 almonds (approx. 0.5 oz)
Bereiding
- Place coconut, apple, dates and almonds into mixing bowl and Turbo/2 sec/1 time. Serve immediately.
- This healthy breakfast is recommended by nutritionist Cyndi O’Meara.
- Wash before use if the fruit is not going to be peeled.
- Serve with fresh fruit, yogurt, seeds, or on its own.
- Unsweetened desiccated coconut can be replaced with fresh coconut flesh, unpeeled and cut into pieces (approx. ¾ in.).
- Replace almonds with brazil nuts or cashews, dates with goji-berries, coconut with pumpkin seeds and apple with pear for different flavor combinations.
